Playa Negra – Adam
This project wasn’t just about contrast—it was about connection. Adam’s skin and the volcanic black sand, both shaped by nature, both striking in their own way. From the very first frame, his presence didn’t just reflect light—it transformed it. Especially in that opening shot, where sun, sand, and skin seemed to move in unison—breathing together.
Shot on Costa Rica’s wild Playa Negra, we leaned into the raw force of the elements. The dark sand—formed by fire and cooled by the ocean—set the tone. We didn’t try to soften it. We let it lead.
In the second part of the series focused on movement, breath, and grounding. Earth, water, air—Adam didn’t just pose in the landscape, he moved with it. Salt on his skin, wind at his back, fully present. There were no distractions—just the land, the light, and a quiet rhythm unfolding.
This wasn’t about creating beauty. It was about revealing something real.
